The word ‘secondary’ can be terrifying because many people immediately assume it means the end, but one of the main reasons I wanted to take part in this campaign is to show that a secondary (metastatic) breast cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence.
Having secondary has taught me to seize the moment and just go after what you want. Book the holiday, have a nice car, change your house, do what you want to do. Life's too short to worry about stuff being okay."
