Thankfully, I’m stable on my first line of treatment, which is brilliant. The side effects are bearable. I do suffer with fatigue and I live with daily pain from the spinal cord compression.
I go to hospital every month for blood tests and check-ups, and every three months I have scans. That’s always a worrying time – that fear of what they’ll find. The cancer is always there, hanging over us.
