Being involved in this campaign – in this photography session – has been one of the most important things I’ve done.
As a man, it’s hard to open up. But showing myself like that… it matters. Because one day, when I’m gone, that photo will still be there. It’ll be online. It’ll remind someone that men can get breast cancer. That men can get secondary breast cancer.
Sometimes, it’s not just about the conversation – it’s about leaving something behind. Dropping a stone into a pond and letting the ripples go. Maybe someone I’ll never meet will see it and it’ll help them.
